Support and Rights for Transgender Persons in Lakshadweep – Public Notice

The Directorate of Social Welfare & Tribal Affairs, Lakshadweep, invites any resident identifying as transgender to come forward within 30 days of this notice. This initiative is in line with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment’s guidelines to ensure welfare measures and rights for transgender individuals. The Director of Social Welfare acts as the Nodal Officer and will facilitate access to all entitled support and services.
