The Secretary SW&TA as Ex-officio Commissioner for Person with Disabilities under section 79 of The Person with Disabilities Act 2016.

The Administrator of UT of Lakshadweep designated the Secretary, Social Welfare and Tribal Affairs as the ex-officio Commissioner for Person with Disabilities under section 79 of The Right of Person with Disabilities Act 2016 for UT of Lakshadweep till a regular Commissioner is appointed.
